9U Tritons Teal – Rumble in the Ridge Champions!

The 9U Tritons Teal team took home the Championship trophy in the Rupert Reed Invitational in Ridge Meadows on July 16th.

The team went 2-1 in the round robin, allowing only two runs against in their two wins, before falling to a tough Kelowna team in the final round robin game.

Tritons Teal battled their way to win the semi-final against Ridge Meadows AAA.  The team got a chance at redemption against Kelowna in the finals. Tritons Teal got up on Kelowna early with runs, and held them off the rest of the game with amazing defensive plays, tough pitching, and hitting contributions from the entire roster.  The team closed out the game with a nail-biting finish – a true team effort in a 9-7 victory!
