2024 Winter Training

We are proud to offer a 9-week winter training program this year for players 2006 through to 2016.

Players will be run through drills that encompass all aspects of this great game, including fielding, pitching, hitting, base-running and various games to improve our tools!

This year’s WRSSBA Winter Training program is overseen by Jordan Broatch, Director of Baseball Operations & Player Development. Jordan’s main responsibility is to promote a positive learning environment where youth have an opportunity to enjoy baseball while experiencing new skills and coaching by our group of impressive baseball instructors.

Intro or Advanced?

  • Choose Intro if your player is new to pitching (under 1 year), new to baseball, or has limited experience
  • Choose Advanced if your player has more than one year experience pitching at the higher level of their division (11U Mosquito American League or 13U Peewee AA)

Session dates and times: 

  • Start date – Monday January 15th
  • End date – Thursday March 14th

  • 3:30-4:30 – 9U Tadpole
  • 4:30-5:30 – 11U Mosquito (Intro)
  • 5:30-6:30 – 11U Mosquito (Advanced)
  • 6:30-7:30 – 13U Peewee (Intro)

Tuesday

  • 3:30-4:30 – 9U Tadpole
  • 4:30-5:30 – 11U Mosquito (Intro)
  • 5:30-6:30 – 13U Peewee (Intro)
  • 6:30-7:30 – 13U Peewee (Advanced)

Wednesday

  • 3:30-4:30 – 9U Tadpole
  • 4:30-5:30 – 11U Mosquito (Intro)
  • 5:30-6:30 – 11U Mosquito (Advanced)
  • 6:30-7:30 – 13U Peewee (Advanced)
  • 7:30-8:30 – 15U Bantam/18U Midget

Thursday

  • 3:30-4:30 – 9U Tadpole
  • 4:30-5:30 – 11U Mosquito (Intro)
  • 5:30-6:30 – 13U Peewee (Intro)
  • 6:30-7:30 – 15U Bantam AA

Session size: Maximum of 9 players per session.

Cost: $225

Note: Only online payments are accepted!

Session Times

Winter Training sessions are based on BC Minor player ages (i.e., birth year), and thus the sessions are based on the player’s Spring 2024 division. For example, a player born in 2012 who played second year Mosquito in 2023 will register for Peewee as he will be a Peewee player in 2024.

9U Tadpole: 2015, 2016
11U Mosquito: 2013, 2014
13U Peewee: 2011, 2012
15U Bantam: 2009, 2010
18U Midget: 2006, 2007, 2008
