10U Tritons – Abbotsford Mid-Summer Classic Champions!

The WRSSBA 10U Tritons competed in the Abbotsford Mid-Summer Classic tournament over the weekend and won the gold medal, going 6-0 on the weekend, and beating Ridge Meadows in the final.

Playing in some very hot temperatures over the weekend, the Tritons finished the round robin portion of the tournament 4-0 and scoring a total of 68 runs!

As the #2 seed going into the playoff round, in the semi-final they defeated a very strong Cloverdale team 5-4 in the bottom of the 6th inning in walk-off fashion and carried their momentum into the final game.

In the final, the Tritons were able to score some runs early and cruise to an 8-4 victory, in a total team effort to cap off a great weekend of baseball.
