Matt MacDonald

I just wanted to nominate Coach Matt MacDonald again this year. He is coaching both of my kids on two different teams in two different age groups, which to me, is a massive commitment and over and above the call of duty. But in addition to this, he’s just a great coach. He’s organized, committed, keeps the kids focused, but always maintains the entire reason for playing the sport: FUN. Couldn’t be happier that my kids get to learn from such a good role model in the sport of baseball. Cheers to Coach Matt!

Fun First Coach

I just wanted to acknowledge Coach Matt MacDonald.  He coached my son last year in U5, and he was amazing.  So positive, kind, and gentle with the little ones.  My son is pretty sensitive and has had a hard time with soccer, but he fell in love with baseball.  Now, coach Matt is not only coaching my son again in U7, but he is coaching my other son in U9.  Always supportive, always kind, and always keeping the name of the game in mind: FUN FIRST.  We have played some teams with ultra competitive coaches, and I am so glad that we have Coach Matt.  I think that a coach that takes on two teams, and with such kindness, deserves a shout out!
