BC Premier Baseball League – White Rock Tritons – Provincial Champions!

The BC PBL White Rock Tritons won their provincial title this weekend in exciting fashion, with a 5-3 victory over the Langley Blaze in the Championship Game.

Playing some excellent baseball this season, the team finished their regular season on a 14 game win streak, and carried a ton of momentum and confidence into the PBL playoffs.

The Tritons were the #2 seed in a double knockout tournament, punching a ticket to Championship Sunday with 3 more consecutive wins: 11-5 over Abbotsford, 8-3 over UBC, and 6-2 over the Langley Blaze.

On Sunday, the Tritons lost a tight one 3-2 to the Blaze, setting up a winner-take-all final game, in which the Tritons prevailed 5-3, winning the provincial banner!
