2023 Rep Team Tryouts

WRSSBA is proud to announce tryouts for our 15U AA, 13U AAA, and 13U AA teams for the upcoming spring and summer season. These are elite level teams, the highest that WRRSBA offers for these age groups, designed for players looking to make a considerable commitment to the sport, along with individual and team development.

 

15U Bantam AA Tryouts – Thursday February 2nd AND Friday February 3rd

The 15U AA team will operate as a single-season team with the team being selected in February and continuing through the summer in a BC Minor interlock league. They will compete against other associations from across the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley as well as Vancouver Island and the Interior. Additional fees will apply.

Tryouts will be held for 2 consecutive evenings:

  • Thursday February 2nd, 7:30-9:30PM at the WRSSBA Indoor Training Centre
  • Friday February 3rd, 8:00-10:00PM at the BMO Coastal Indoor Training facility

Players will attend small group sessions in a variety of drills and skill evaluations. Attendees will demonstrate their abilities in a wide range of baseball related activities including hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching.

 

13U Peewee AAA Tryouts – Saturday February 4th, 6:30-10:00pm

The 13U AAA team will operate as a single-season team with the team being selected in February and continuing through the summer in a BC Minor interlock league. Additional fees will apply. Weekly commitment is minimum of 2 practices and 2 games (plus tournaments).

Important: Players on this team must be available to travel within BC throughout the season and play through the end of August for potential participation in Western and National tournaments.

In order to be eligible to attend tryouts, players must be registered with WRSSBA for the upcoming 2022 season.

 

13U Peewee AA Tryouts – Saturday February 11th, 6:30-10:00pm

The 13U AA team will play in a Lower Mainland BC Minor interlock league. Players must be able to commit to travel within the Lower Mainland during the week. Additional fees will apply. Weekly commitment is minimum of 2 practices and 2 games (plus tournaments).

 

Note: A non-refundable tryout fee of $20 will apply. Some players may be called back to an additional session mid-week.
