WRSSBA 11U AA Tritons Win Silver at the Annual Boulanger Memorial Tournament

The White Rock-South Surrey Baseball Association’s 11U AA Tritons had a thrilling and hard-fought weekend at the annual Boulanger Memorial Tournament, hosted by Cloverdale. The young squad battled through four impressive victories before falling just short in a nail-biting final, earning a well-deserved silver medal.

The tournament kicked off with a dominant performance as the Tritons blanked the Abbotsford Angels with a decisive 10-0 win. Their strong momentum continued in the second game, where they overcame the Penticton Tigers 12-6, showcasing solid teamwork and consistent bats.

In their third matchup, the Tritons delivered a powerful offensive display, overpowering the Chilliwack Cougars 17-2. The semi-final proved to be a high-scoring showdown against the host team, the Cloverdale Spurs, with White Rock-South Surrey prevailing 15-9 in a spirited and competitive match.

The final against Langley Little League was a true test of grit and determination. The two evenly matched teams battled down to the final pitch, with Langley edging out the Tritons 6-5 in a thrilling championship game that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite the narrow loss, the WRSSBA 11U AA Tritons walk away from the Boulanger Memorial with heads held high and silver medals around their necks — a testament to their hard work, team spirit, and talent.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding tournament performance!
